In the early 1960s Horace Allison owned a large trucking company with a fleet of nearly 100 Mack trucks. Horace liked the Bulldog brand so much he bought into a dealership -- Gainesville Truck Center -- in 1969. A year later, he became the sole owner of an authorized Mack Truck dealership that was established in 1954, and a family business was born.

Gainesville Truck Center proudly presents our own Mack collector series. Started in 1999, our series features Mack Truck replicas, produced by First Gear, Inc., in realistic work settings.
